The Historic Hotels of America recently announced the 2014 Awards of Excellence winners at the Hotel Hershey. Proving victorious, Palmer House Hilton was awarded the titles of Best Historic Hotel and Hotel Historian of the Year; the latter recognized PR director, Ken Price, a 30+ year veteran of the hotel, for his unique History is Hott tour.
A Best Practice Award was also granted to the hotel for Innovative Historic Hotel Event Host, which was presented to the hotel with the most “Creativity to ‘Bring Back’ Hotel’s Memorable Experiences.” The winners were chosen from a pool of more than 160 nominees.
