Choose Lansing has taken a major step forward in expanding accessibility and inclusivity across the region through a new partnership with Wheel the World, a San Francisco-based global leader in accessible travel. The initiative, part of Wheel the World’s Destination Verified program, provides verified accessibility information for 55 of Lansing’s key tourism listings—including 14 hotels, 30 attractions, and 11 restaurants.
Accessible travel is an increasingly vital component of destination marketing—representing an estimated $120 billion market in the U.S. alone. Wheel the World’s global community of more than 150,000 travelers relies on accurate accessibility data when choosing where to visit, meet, and stay.
With verified accessibility data for Lansing now live on Wheel the World’s platform, meeting and event planners can better assess lodging, dining, and activity options that meet a range of accessibility needs.
