2015 Governor’s Awards for Innovative Tourism Collaboration Announced

The 2015 Governor’s Awards for Innovative Tourism Collaboration were presented at the March Pure Michigan Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Grand Rapids. David West, of Travel Michigan, presented the awards.
 
“Brighton’s Farm to Table Experience” received the award in the Experience Development & Presentation category. In the Tourism Marketing & Promotion category, The Grand Rapids Store took home top honors. The third and final award was given to the Northwest Michigan Wine Tasting Room Training Program within the Education & Training category.   
 
The Governor’s Awards for Innovative Tourism Collaboration were created by the Michigan Travel Commission and the Governor’s Office to elevate the status of Michigan’s Tourism Industry. The inaugural awards were presented in 2009.
