M1 Concourse in Pontiac is expanding by building a $30 million, 22,000-square-foot interactive on-site venue set to open next summer. M1 Concourse is an experiential motorsports venue featuring a 28,000-square-foot event complex, 1 1/2-mile performance track, 255 private garages, and scheduled events on 87 acres. Its new X Center will have three levels that include racing simulators, a flagship restaurant, electric-powered race cars, e-gaming stations, a meeting space, and other motorsports-inspired experiences for participants of all ages.
CEO and owner Paul Zlotoff says M1 Concourse has been a destination for gatherings since it opened in 2016. “The X Center isn’t just a meeting space—it’s an experience,” he says. “We’re continuing our commitment to serve as the preeminent motorsports experience and events destination with a new space that adds an exciting edge to any meeting or outing, with built-in activities that go far beyond the typical meeting room.” He adds, “It’s the next level up, with a custom-designed electric race car and its own dedicated track; high-end simulators for racing, golf, and shooting; plus a rooftop restaurant with incredible views.”
