Saint John’s Resort Debuts New Luxury Event Venue

The opening of The Monarch marks a major milestone in Saint John’s Resorts’ ongoing upgrades in Plymouth

Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth is elevating Michigan’s meetings and events landscape with newest event space, The Monarch, launched in mid-June. Spanning 24,000 square feet and accommodating up to 1,500 attendees, The Monarch is now the largest and most luxurious event space at the resort. “We are delighted to unveil one of the most prestigious and expansive event venues in the state of Michigan,” says Eric Djordjevic, managing director of Saint John’s Resort, in a prepared statement. “The Monarch provides limitless opportunities for guests to host a truly luxurious event.”

The ballroom features 18-foot ceilings, nine crystal chandeliers, and a 200-foot retractable glass wall that opens to a 7,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard. The three-story layout also includes a private bridal suite, prefunction space, and flexibility to support everything from large-scale conferences and corporate galas to weddings and smaller social celebrations.

The opening comes as the resort continues its multimillion-dollar transformation, which has already introduced new dining concepts, an 18-hole championship golf course, and expanded recreational amenities.

As part of the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s “Humanitarian Hotels” mission, 100% of the resort’s net profits—including events hosted at The Monarch—support educational and humanitarian efforts throughout Detroit and beyond.
