EideCom—a rapidly growing event production company based in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Park with specialties in audiovisual production, creative services, and hybrid events—will double the size of its company headquarters from 20,000 square feet to 41,000 square feet as part of a significant expansion project, now underway. The upgrade primarily helps EideCom make room for $6 million in new event-production equipment. In total, the company is purchasing more than 700 pieces of new equipment, including an LED wall, laptops, TVs, lighting fixtures, video switchers, and more.
“We are making this significant investment because organizations are doubling down on events,” says Charles Eide, founder and CEO of EideCom, in a prepared statement. “Business leaders want to bring their people together, and events are the most impactful way to do that. This expansion ensures we can meet these increasing demands in the months and years to come.”
EideCom also owns Blackhawk Event Logistics, An EideCom Co., a nationwide trucking company for custom event projects and the entertainment industry. The expansion will add more bays for trucks, expanding the capabilities of this growing division of EideCom.
While Eide is excited about all aspects of this expansion project, he believes the most important ingredient that can’t be overlooked is his team. He says, “You can’t make it in this business unless you have the best people. That’s why we’re continuing to scale up our team of employees and freelancers as we grow. They provide the magic and are critical to making events successful.”
EideCom began receiving new equipment in May. Construction of EideCom’s new space is well underway and is expected to be completed this month.
