Kisskeys Named Associations North President

By Amanda Christensen

Associations North, formerly known as the Midwest Society of Association Executives, promoted Angela Kisskeys to president of the organization.

Originally joining the team as an office administrator in 2007, Kisskeys was named marketing and communications manager in 2010 and became a co-director of Associations North in 2017.

“Angela has brought a contagious passion and energy for serving association executives and their teams to Associations North for 15 years,” says Clara Albert, executive director of the Electrical Association and chairwoman of Associations North. “Her vision and leadership will take this association to great places, and we’re thrilled to be able to recognize not only that vision but all of her contributions to the world of associations here in the Upper Midwest over the last decade and a half.”

As president, Kisskeys will oversee direction and execution of Associations North’s strategic plan, all day-to-day operations, marketing and communications, membership relations, events, educational programming, staffing, and the financial performance of the organization.

“We’ve seen incredible growth in Angela and are looking forward to seeing where she can take Associations North with her vision and her conviction for helping our members be successful,” says Janel Fick, partner at Global Management Partners LLC and chair-elect of Associations North.

Kisskeys adds, “I’m honored to have the board entrust the future of this great organization to me, and backed by the guidance of our strategic plan, we will continue to deliver great resources, connections, and opportunities for Associations North members.”
