Minnesotans, get excited. The tantalizing menu at Portillo’s—Chicago’s fast casual restaurant that serves Chicago-style cuisine—will now be available in Woodbury. The restaurant will be located at 8450 Hudson Road. They are set to begin construction in the coming months and are slated for a summer 2017 opening—the perfect seasons for hot dogs, a menu favorite.
“The Woodbury location marks a milestone for the company,” says Keith Kinsey, CEO, Portillo’s. “Portillo’s has grown from founder Dick Portillo’s original Dog House in the Chicago suburbs to 50 locations in 2017. We could not be more excited that this momentous opening coincides with our first Minnesota location. Our entire team looks forward to bringing Portillo’s to the city of Woodbury.”
The 9,000-square-foot restaurant will have seating for more than 200 guests, double drive-thru lanes and a seasonal outdoor patio. The Woodbury location will offer classic Portillo’s menu items such as Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and their famous chocolate cake.
