Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport (MSP) earned the No. 1 ranking among mega airports in the J.D. Power “2024 North America Airport Satisfaction Survey,” which was released in mid-September. The mega airports category designates those that serve 33 million or more passengers per year. The airport also earned the highest customer-satisfaction ratings for each of the seven criteria that form the basis of the overall award, including ease of travel through the airport; level of trust with the airport; terminal facilities; airport staff; departure/to-airport experience; food, beverage, and retail; and arrival/from-airport experience. MSP has ranked No. 1 in the survey two of the last three years. “Our purpose is to provide exceptional experiences so Minnesota thrives, and this prestigious recognition demonstrates that we are delivering for our travelers,” says Brian Ryks, CEO and executive director of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which owns and operates MSP.
