Meeting Professionals International, the official sponsor of Smart Monday, has added five new programs to the inaugural day of IMEX America.
Paws for a Break
MPI is teaming up with Love Dog Adventures—a Las Vegas animal-assisted therapy program. Designed as a stress-reducing activity, several dogs will be present during Smart Monday for attendees to cuddle with. These puppy sessions are quickly becoming a hot new trend and have been featured in a number of World Education Congresses. Puppy Cuddling is sponsored by Visit Norfolk.
Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate Course
This four-hour MPI Academy course will provide healthcare meeting compliance stakeholders with the knowledge and experience they need to navigate the biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory environments successfully. This intense class will help attendees gain some clarity in these increasingly complex industries. Additional registration and fees will apply.
Headshot Station
Orange Photography will be onsite offering complimentary professional headshots to attendees during Smart Monday. The station also will be available during IMEX America show days, running Oct. 18–20. Orange Photography has been the official photographers of the last five WECs.
CMP Master Class
Attendees preparing for the CMP exam will value this interactive session that covers industry best practices as outlined in the CMP International Standards. Participants also will learn how to apply key learnings on the job. Additional registration and fees will apply.
BRAINSTORM Discussions
The Brainstorm area of Smart Monday will feature four group discussions throughout the day. Topics include Women in Leadership; Food and Beverage Trends; Cool Technologies; and Mentorship. Karin Krogh, president of the MPI Denmark Chapter and certified process consultant, facilitator and Meetovator, will facilitate each session.
IMEX America is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada from Oct. 18–20. Smart Monday is sponsored by MPI and will take place on Oct. 17.
