The St. Anthony Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio, debuted its Esencia restaurant in February, providing another culinary outlet for planners to consider for group dining and events at the property. Led by Chef Leo Davila and inspired by his Chinese and Mexican heritage, Esencia serves up a menu of dishes that combine Spanish, Mexican, and Asian flavors, with plates to note including carne asada frites and beef and broccoli made with tartare-style Asian-spiced wagyu beef. The restaurant also provides several private dining spaces, including the Main Room for up to 16 people, the Shanghai Room for up to 20, and the Mezzanine for up to 40.
In addition to the venues within Esencia, The St. Anthony Hotel offers 20,828 square feet of meeting and event space, including the Anacacho Ballroom and Peacock Alley, which accommodate larger groups of 675 and 500 people, respectively. Several smaller meeting rooms and boardrooms also are available at the hotel.
